Background

5BY2 is a pioneer in the automatic parking business. We build fully automatic parking garages based on a ‘puzzle solution’ and are therefore more efficient with space than other automatic parking solutions. Our first garage was built in 1992 and is still fully operational. Since then 5BY2 has built 26 garages in which thousands of users have enjoyed the reliability and ease of use of our automatic parking systems.

5BY2 designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned all 26 of its systems and currently maintains them all as well as other supplier’s automated systems.

Who we are

5BY2 is a subsidiary of the Protechnum engineering group. Protechnum is headquartered in Amsterdam with about 200 staff based in four locations and an annual turnover of €40 million. Protechnum is owned by its staff and informal outside investors. See www.protechnum.nl for more information.
